Donic Rubber BlueStar A1

SKU: 10821

Donic Rubber BlueStar A1
Donic Rubber BlueStar A1 The name says it all The BLUESTAR has the best prerequisites to become the new star among the DONIC rubbers, because here comes something really new. The secret of the BLUESTAR lies in its sponge, which is completely different from the sponges of all other DONIC rubbers. "Optimized Energy Sponge" is what the developers have proudly called the underlying technology, OPTE for short. A small-pored sponge that sets new standards in terms of elasticity and dampening level due to its special composition, and you can feel it immediately when playing: fantastic catapult and speed properties make the DONIC BLUESTAR A1 an absolute top product. Of course, the upper rubber also contributes to this. Unlike the successful rubbers of the BLUEGRIP C-TO U C H series from DONIC, the top rubber is only slightly sticky and extremely grippy. Former world champion Jörgen Persson is enthusiastic about this new development. "I have never played a better rubber," explained the Swedish legend. With 52.5°, the sponge of the DONIC BLUESTAR A1 seems relatively hard only at first impression. In the hands of players of an appealing level, however, it quickly becomes a strong trump card. Even ambitious players who are not active in the top classes can enjoy the BLUESTAR, but it is especially recommended for players who also train intensively. DONIC BLUESTAR A1 Technology: OPTE sponge technology, extremely catapult-strong, dynamic and fine-pored 52.5° sponge Character: Ultramax speed and spin properties, guarantees precise attacking strokes Recommendation: For ambitious, uncompromising attacking players.

Pips In

Pips-In rubbers are the most rotation-friendly variant of rubbers. They are designed in such a way that the kinetic energy is largely converted into rotational energy when the ball hits the surface. This type of rubber is the most widely used, especially among offensive players.

Long Pips

Long pimple rubbers are characterised by their ability to reverse the opponent's spin to a certain extent, making them ideal for defensive play from behind the table and disruptive play close to the table. These rubbers can be played with or without sponge.

Short Pips

Short pimple rubbers are a compromise between insensitivity to spin and simultaneous offensive ability. The mostly sponge-backed rubbers with short, wide pimple heads offer the ability to play a powerful offense even with the plastic ball.

Anti Top

This type of rubber usually has a dampening effect on the incoming ball. The pimples are on the inside and the surface has very low friction, which results in extremely effective disruptive play close to the table.
