International parcel shipping is handled by DHL. Freight shipping of tables and large equipment abroad is only available for GEWO items.

* For the USA, only orders of USD 800 or more paid in advance are currently possible. If interested, please write to us at info@contra.de.

1.3 General Shipping Notes

For international deliveries, additional costs may arise that CONTRA is not responsible for – e.g. bank fees, currency conversion fees, or customs duties. Shipping costs apply per parcel.

2. Delivery Deadline and Delivery Time

Delivery deadline: The delivery deadline begins upon receipt of payment for prepayment orders, and for all other payment methods on the day the order is placed. Items available immediately are delivered within 1 to 4 business days (Monday–Saturday) via DHL. If the last day of the deadline falls on a Sunday or public holiday, the deadline is extended to the next business day.

Delivery time: The estimated delivery time can be found directly on the respective product page. We will inform you immediately in the event of delays. Tables and certain large items are delivered by freight carrier and by prior appointment.

3. 24-Hour Express Delivery

Need your item particularly fast? Simply select DHL Express when ordering. For orders received Monday to Friday by 1:00 PM, DHL will deliver the next business day – and on Saturdays if desired (surcharge: €12). Costs are automatically calculated at checkout based on weight or volumetric weight.

4. Notes on Freight Shipping

All items shipped by freight carrier will be scheduled directly by the carrier. You will receive a delivery notice with the planned delivery date in advance. We will also inform you of the estimated dispatch date or calendar week by email beforehand.

The delivery time for available items is generally approximately 1.5 to 2 weeks.

Please ensure that the specified delivery address is suitable and accessible for freight delivery. Should a delivery not be possible due to inaccessibility or refusal to accept, or if additional services are required (e.g. re-delivery, storage, or special services), we reserve the right to charge the resulting additional costs.

5. 30-Day Returns with Free Return Shipping (within Germany only)

You have 30 days from receipt of goods to return items – no rush. Simply use our DHL return label, which you received by email together with your invoice. Return shipping within Germany is free of charge.

Please do not send items back freight collect – any resulting additional costs will be charged to you. Your statutory right of withdrawal and warranty rights remain unaffected.

6. How Returns Work

• Pack the items in their original packaging.
• Fill out the return slip and include it in the parcel.
• Click the return link in your confirmation email and download the DHL return label.
• Print the label and attach it visibly to the parcel.
• Drop off the parcel at a DHL parcel drop-off point – free of charge for you.

7. Subsequent Billing of the Flat-Rate Shipping Fee

If you return items and your order value falls below €69 as a result, the condition for free shipping no longer applies. In this case, we will subsequently invoice the flat-rate shipping fee of €5.90 (in accordance with clause 5.8 of the Terms and Conditions).

8. Subsequent Recalculation of Your Discount

If a discount was dependent on the order value and you return items, the relevant order value may decrease. In this case, we will adjust the discount accordingly and subsequently invoice you for the difference (in accordance with clause 4.7 of the Terms and Conditions).
