A. Withdrawal Policy

Introduction

Consumers are entitled to a right of withdrawal in accordance with the following provisions, whereby a consumer is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor self-employed professional in nature.

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which You or a third party named by You, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the last goods.

To exercise Your right of withdrawal, You must inform us (CONTRA Sport Tischtennis Service Koschnick & Sohns GmbH, Heidekoppel 26, 24558 Henstedt-Ulzburg, Germany, Tel.: 04193-991820, E-Mail: info@contra.de) of Your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an e-mail). You may use the enclosed model withdrawal form for this purpose, although this is not mandatory.

You may also exercise Your right of withdrawal online on our website at https://www.contra.de/revocation. If You use this online function, we will promptly send You a confirmation of receipt on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) containing information about the content of the withdrawal declaration as well as the date and time of its receipt.

To observe the withdrawal period, it is sufficient that You send the communication regarding the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If You withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to You all payments received from You, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from Your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about Your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as You used for the initial transaction, unless You have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, You will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or You have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which You communicate Your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if You send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

We will bear the costs of returning goods that, by their nature, can normally be returned by post. You will bear the direct cost of returning goods that, by their nature, cannot normally be returned by post (freight goods), which is estimated at a maximum of approximately 100 euros per such item.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling of the goods in any way other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Exclusion or Premature Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the delivery of goods that are not prefabricated and for whose production an individual selection or specification by the consumer is decisive, or that are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer.

The right of withdrawal expires prematurely in contracts for the delivery of sound or video recordings or computer software in sealed packaging if the seal has been removed after delivery.

General Notes

1. Please avoid damage to and contamination of the goods. Please return the goods in their original packaging with all accessories and all packaging components. If necessary, use a protective outer packaging. If You no longer have the original packaging, please use suitable packaging to provide adequate protection against damage in transit.
2. Please do not return the goods carriage unpaid.
3. Please note that the requirements set out in points 1–2 above are not a precondition for the effective exercise of the right of withdrawal.
