The upper rubber produces - even with plastic balls - high rotation values on serve, on push and especially on topspin. The surface remains sticky for an astonishingly long time and is still very grippy in the long term. The fast, relatively hard sponge (°47) is under high tension and ensures that the ball can be accelerated forward relatively easily.
