Why is CONTRA's range so large and extensive? This question is easy to answer. Table tennis players and their abilities and wishes are diverse. A wide and deep assortment allows to support many individual ideas and to fulfil personal wishes. CONTRA was born out of the passion for table tennis and the desire for the best material. However, the best material is different for everyone. In order to be able to offer each of you the best material (for you), our range must be broad and deep.
CONTRA, we know what we do
CONTRA was originally founded by club players for club players. Back then, it wasn't so easy to get hold of the equipment you needed. Simplifying access to good sports equipment was the business idea that gave rise to today's CONTRA. In the meantime, we can say that there are a couple of hundred years of table tennis experience at CONTRA through all employees. About two thirds of the members of the CONTRA team are still organised in clubs (the rest are recreational players) and are involved in all levels of table tennis in Germany. We look after small clubs up to players of the absolute top of the world. If you are a club player who values professional advice, optimal support and the availability of top products, CONTRA is the right place for you. At CONTRA, telephone service is not taken over by call centres and e-mails are not answered by artificial intelligence. Our head office and shops are staffed by people who play table tennis and understand what you are talking about.
