Dr. Neubauer Blade Matador Titan – Extremely Fast and Highly Effective, with Added Control

Just like its sister model, the MATADOR HYBRID CARBON, this new version has been specially developed for fast topspin attacks on one side and the use of pimple or anti-spin rubbers on the other. The tremendous acceleration for topspin and direct hits with inverted rubbers on the forehand, as well as the high effectiveness with pimple-out and anti-spin rubbers on the backhand, have largely been preserved.

The outer plies still offer a rather hard feel, but with relatively good control. However, the inner construction of this new MATADOR TITAN has been modified: instead of carbon, titanium fibres are now applied on the forehand side, while the texalium layer on the backhand remains unchanged.

The fibre material is placed further inside the blade, not directly beneath the outer plies. As a result, the speed values are nearly identical, but with slightly more control when blocking, initiating spin, and counter-looping from mid-distance.

Like all models of the well-established MATADOR series, MATADOR TITAN is ideally suited for offensive pimple and anti-spin play, producing a low bounce and excellent spin reversal. It is therefore both a weapon for the modern, uncompromising power game and a highly effective blade for material-based play.
